A LITTLE MORE PERSONAL
Get to know Jon.
There’s more to a person than a résumé. This is a little window into the things I care about, the things I enjoy, and the person I’m still becoming.
Still learning, always growing.
This page is a work in progress — just like me.
01 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE PAGE
So, who’s Jon?
I’m Jon — a Victoria University student with interests that sit at the intersection of people, psychology and business. I’m curious about what makes people tick, how organisations work, and how we can make everyday experiences better.
I enjoy learning, developing new skills, connecting with people and finding ways to contribute to the communities around me. I’m still figuring out exactly where my path will lead, and I see that as part of the adventure.
This page is here for the details that don’t always fit neatly into a professional profile: the interests, values, little preferences and ambitions that help tell a fuller story.
02 / THE QUICK VERSION

A snapshot of the interests and experiences that are part of my story.
What I’m studying
I’m studying a Bachelor of Psychological Studies / Bachelor of Business double degree at Victoria University.
What fascinates me
Psychology, personal development, wellbeing and understanding people.
What I’ve learnt at work
Customer experience, teamwork, adaptability and what it takes to keep things moving in busy retail environments.
How I like to contribute
Through volunteering, community involvement and helping create positive experiences for other people.
03 / THINGS THAT MAKE ME, ME
What I’m into
A mix of big interests, creative rabbit holes and little everyday favourites.
Psychology & people
I’m interested in how people think, feel, behave and connect. Over time, I’d like to use that interest to support people and contribute to better wellbeing.
Business & experiences
I enjoy exploring business strategy, customer experience and the reasons people make the choices they do. I like the practical side of turning ideas into better experiences.
Music & entertainment
Music and screen stories are part of the fun. Alex Warren is one of the artists I’ve been interested in, and I enjoy stories that give people something to connect with.
Colour, style & atmosphere
Light pastel lavender is a favourite of mine. I’m drawn to a soft, colourful aesthetic that feels welcoming, expressive and a little bit playful.
04 / WHAT MATTERS TO ME
People, purpose & growth
Understanding
Making space for people’s experiences and perspectives, rather than assuming everyone sees the world the same way.
Growth
Continuing to learn, reflecting on experiences and giving myself room to develop over time.
Community
Being involved, showing up for others and contributing to things that have a positive impact.
Purpose
Looking for ways to connect my interests with work that feels useful, meaningful and people-focused.

My journey so far
A few experiences that have helped shape my interests and direction.
LEADERSHIP
Learning to bring people together
School leadership gave me opportunities to help organise events, work with others and contribute to the wider school community.
BUSINESS
Building practical experience
Studying business and working in customer-facing roles have helped me develop a practical understanding of teamwork, service and day-to-day operations.
COMMUNITY
Making time to volunteer
Volunteering with community-focused organisations has given me ways to contribute beyond study and work.
WHAT’S NEXT
Bringing psychology and business together
My current studies reflect two interests I want to keep exploring: understanding people and understanding the environments in which they live and work.
